The music ministry of Mitchell Baptist Church exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, leading the congregation in worship and providing an avenue for individuals to be part of the worship service. We believe in the power of music to exhort, uplift, and encourage the body of Christ while bringing honor and glory to our Lord and Savior. With our adult choir, youth choir, congregation, and special groups, we are united in singing to an audience of One—Jesus Christ!

About Us
The purpose of the music ministry of Mitchell Baptist Church is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, to lead the congregation in worship, and to provide an avenue through which individuals may be an important part of the worship service. With a focus on uplifting and encouraging the body of Christ, we welcome everyone to join us as we sing to an audience of One—Jesus Christ!
Congregational Singing
Join our vibrant congregation in worship as we sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with grace in our hearts to the Lord. Every voice is welcomed to lift praises together as one body of Christ.
Adult Choir
Our adult choir leads worship and shares the gospel through powerful, inspiring music. Weekly rehearsals help members grow spiritually and musically while serving as an integral part of the worship experience.
Youth Choir
Designed for our younger members, the youth choir provides a space to grow in faith and skill, offering opportunities to lead in worship and participate in special performances.
Special Groups
In addition to our choirs, special music groups bring unique expressions of worship through solos, ensembles, and instrumental performances. These moments enrich our services and inspire hearts.
